Here we are in the land of the midnight sun - and dividends! Soon we'll have the best part of Alaska....Summer - with 20 hours of daylight and it never really gets dark. Emergency fishing runs happen often,"dip netting" is sacred and you live on very little sleep! We look forward to family and friends who long to come see the last frontier and see why we call this home.

I can't even get my scrapbooking done - which is why this has been of little interest to me! I mean, really, aside from getting kids to school from 6am to 9am, packing lunches, taxiing to volleyball, basketball, and baseball, homework, history fair projects, Young Women, cooking (ok, somewhat) and staring at my computer all day at work, I REALLY DON'T HAVE TIME! But its for a bigger purpose. Being 3K miles away from those who claim us, hopefully it will be a source of keeping in touch!
